As I prepare to go back to work, I'm trying to build up a stash of 5 minute meals that will make sure that I stay on track and healthy. This will definitely be one of my new 'go-to's'.

Ingredients:
  • 1 x Weight watchers wrap

  • 1 Tin of canned steak and gravy

  • 1 Onion (red or white)

  • 1 medium egg

Method:

1) Preheat your oven to 180 degrees (fan)/ gas mark 6

2) Finely chop the onion and fry in a pan with low calorie spray oil until the onions have gone soft

3) Line a baking tray with baking parchment and spray generously with low calorie spray oil

4) Place the wrap on the baking tray and spoon the onion and the the canned mixture onto half of the wrap, leaving about half an inch of space between the mixture and the edge of the wrap- BE CAREFUL not to put too much mixture into onto the wrap or the other side won't fold over (you also may want to drain a little bit of the gravy from the meat to stop the wrap going soggy)

5) Beat your egg in a bowl and brush a thin layer of egg wash around the edge of the wrap

6) Fold the empty side of the wrap over the mixture and using a fork, press down around the edges the seal the pasty

7) Brush the top of the pasty with the egg wash and pop in the oven for around 20 minutes (or until it's golden brown)

And there you have it, just four ingredients and 7 simple steps. I also have used this method to make other dishes like calzone and it works a treat.
